Artful Hong Kong: lyrical abstraction for hint of glamor.
Acting as both artist and art consultant I put together a collection of paintings for my second Hong Kong project. This turned out well and was published in a shelter magazine because it's photogenic and artful home. It's typical of the design work of BAMO, beautiful and difficult to categorize. If I had to categorize my paintings for this project I call them lyrical abstraction. That seems the closest fit but what matters more is that they both fit in and stand out. Size constraints partly dictated the selection but I'm including the whole group of five that I submitted for consideration.
Materials: acrylic and powdered pigments on canvas.
